1950 : Born Manchester, England

1966-69 : Student at Rochdale College of Art

1973-76 Student at Manchester College of Education.

1976- 89. Taught Art in high schools in Greater Manchester, being Head of Department  for several years.

1989- 2006 : Teaching Art to 'A' level in a sixth form college,head of department for  14 years.

2006; Took early retirement

2007. Moved to Crete,spent a lot more time painting and drawing, because I had the time, light, space and energy

2011; Joined the Stuckists, founder member of the Chania, Crete branch
